The voluntary Dutch Zonnekeur quality mark makes a statement concerning the safety, reliability, and durability of a solar boiler as well as the energy saving it realises. It aims to stimulate the implementation of high-quality solar boilers. Products with the Zonnekeur label comply with the stringent Dutch requirements in relation to quality, durability and performance.
The Zonnekeur and Solar Keymark quality marks for solar boilers are based on product testing and assessment in accordance with the European EN 12976 standard.

When you want to enter the market with your products labeld with Zonnekeur
Processtappen
If you are a manufacturer or supplier, the following process applies: based on your request, Kiwa Gastec sends you an offer specifying, among other things, the test programme, sampling, inspection of your production process, and the certification schedule. Our offer takes account of the product test results you may already have acquired from other accredited test institutes. After your product passes the tests successfully, Kiwa Gastec draws up a Solar Keymark and/or Zonnekeur monitoring agreement in consultation with your company.
Over Kiwa
On 1 May 2007, Kiwa introduced a new service: testing and certification of solar boilers for Zonnekeur, the Dutch quality mark.
